Sometimes, When It Rains

Raindrops drown my tears
Painful thoughts stabbing my heart
Let darkness hide me.

A music plays on
Each sad note a hollow beat
The rhythm is missed.

  2. Almost too personal. It makes me feel like I'm intruding on some private moment.
But very affecting, with an a.

  5. i love it. seems real with great expression. the way I read it, the lightning jabbing as light and to prefering to be hidden is contrasted with the immediacy of the first read of that sobering line. let the dark hide me. and the 2nd stanza and offrhythm and off beat of the heart to the drowning rain sowonderfully Haunting and a perfect pic too!
    awesome read xo

  8. Just a note to the creeps who are badly craving for attention. I will say this once. I moderate my COMMENTS. Damn shame. Your uneducated pick-up line and innuendos will never get you anywhere near me, or near anyone for that matter.
So why don't you just crawl away and try to get a life? You can keep trying but you will never get off by hoping that someone will be able to read it because it can never pass my approval. Ha ha ha. Toodles!

  9. this guns for hire, even though we`re just dancin` in the darkJuly 14, 2011 at 7:17 AM

Perhaps my dear, but i still desperately want to thrust my cock up your arse, you lushious little sexpot. By the way, i`m not "a creep", i just tell the truth about what really goes on in my mind unlike all the other ludicrous liars and hypocrites who leave com-girl-ts on this site. Always remember we are living in "THE TIME OF SEXUAL REPRESSION" a time that will always be remembered by future historians as being one of the most loathsome and horrifying periods of history to have had to live through (thats right, even more hideous than the time of the plague in the 13th century) and we`re the poor bastards who had to live through it.

  11. I too feel a bit sad sometimes when the rain is letting some drops fall on the window and my mind wander in past pain.
Lovely poem and a photo that match the atmosphere perfectly.
